Bollywood’s beloved action stars Suniel Shetty and Akshay Kumar have shared a bond that goes beyond films, and on September 9, that friendship shone once again. As Akshay Kumar turned 58, Suniel dug into the archives and pulled out a priceless throwback from the 90s, reminding fans of their iconic journey that began more than three decades ago.

From there, their paths often crossed on screen, but it was the cult comedy Hera Pheri in 2000 that cemented their status as one of Bollywood’s most loved duos. Their chemistry, along with Paresh Rawal’s unforgettable turn as Babu Bhaiya, turned the film into a classic. Six years later, Phir Hera Pheri carried forward the madness and success.

Now, with Hera Pheri 3 in the works, fans are more excited than ever to see the trio back together. Suniel’s nostalgic post only added to the anticipation. Sharing the picture, which shows both actors in their youthful prime, sporting sunglasses and an air of effortless cool, Suniel wrote: “Akki, from madness to memories, from hustle to hugs, we have seen it all together. Here's to many more laughs and crazy times ahead.”
