Samantha Ruth Prabhu is making her production debut with the upcoming horror comedy, Subham. However, the actress revealed the first trailer of the film on Sunday.
The actress took to her Instagram to unveil the 2-minute-51-second trailer of the film produced under her banner, Tralala Moving Pictures. The trailer also gave a glimpse of Samantha’s hilarious cameo.
In the trailer, a group of men can be seen discussing how they expect their wives to keep coffee ready at home whenever they want. But one member of the group disagrees with their ‘alpha male’ attitude.
The trailer then showed the women being obsessed with a daily 9 pm TV show, and the men started struggling to reassert their authority.
The trailer ends with Samantha's character, Maata, being asked about the men's fate. With a dramatic gesture, she implies they'll likely die, even offering them a premature condolence message.
Alongside the trailer, Samantha wrote in the caption, “Join us for a fun ride with a film that’s all heart. #Subham In theatres May 9.”
The upcoming film features Harshith Reddy, Gavireddy Srinivas, Charan Peri, Shriya Kontham, Shravani Lakshmi, Shalini Kondepudi, and Vamshidhar Goud in the key roles. Vivek Sagar and Clinton Cerejo have collaborated on catchy music and songs. Directed by Praveen Kandregula, the film is penned by Vasanth Mariganti.
