Shama Sikander, a well-known actress, recently opened up about a shocking incident that took place during an ad shoot, which left her feeling uncomfortable and distressed. The incident involved a Bollywood superstar, who remains unnamed, and Sikander shared the details during a conversation with Bollywood Bubble.
Recalling the unsettling moment, Sikander described how the superstar improvised the shoot in a way that was not part of the planned script. She expressed her discomfort by stating, "Vo scene tha nahi usme and I think he really wanted to hug me for some reason." According to Sikander, the hug was not necessary for the scene they were shooting, and she believes the actor deliberately altered the scene in order to hug her. She continued, "Logon ki vibe hoti hai vaisi," indicating that people often exude a certain energy or vibe that can be sensed by others, and in this case, she felt something off.
During the shoot, Sikander mentioned how the actor insisted on improvising despite her objections. He insisted, "Nahi, nahi. Mai ek kaam karta hu," indicating his intent to modify the scene, which would allow him to approach her and hug her. He described his plan to Sikander, saying, "Mai aaunga yaha se aur mai meri biwi jo hai gehne pehnauunga aur fir mai isko twirl karke isko hug krunga." His actions during the shoot seemed forceful, leaving Sikander in an awkward position. She described feeling the inappropriateness of the touch, saying, "When he hugged me, you know the kind of touch, you can feel that. I felt so uncomfortable."
The hug, which was not part of the scene, made Sikander deeply uncomfortable, as she felt the actor had a particular intention behind it. She noted, "People have their vibes," indicating that she could sense that the situation was not right and that the actor's actions were not justified within the context of the shoot.

Reflecting on the entire situation, Sikander stated that she had never experienced anything like this before. "I have worked with so many people, so many guy friends. They have never made me feel that way." She expressed her disbelief, stating, "It was very shocking and weird for me." Sikander wondered why the superstar, who is presumably already successful and well-established, felt the need to behave this way. She remarked, "Yeh banda superstar hai, isko kya zarurat hai ese karne ki?" questioning why such behavior was necessary from someone of his stature.
Sikander also revealed that this incident changed her view of the actor. After the ad shoot, she made a firm decision to never work with him again. "Ek hi din mai mili unse, itna attitude tha unme," she said, referring to the actor's overbearing attitude. She described how there was something not normal about his behavior and made up her mind, "Mai khud zindagi me kabhi unke saath nahi krungi. Jab mai star ban jaungi tab bhi nahi karungi, yeh maine thaan liya tha." Sikander's resolve is clear—no matter her own future success, she will not collaborate with the actor again.
The entire experience was deeply unsettling for Sikander, and her decision to speak out about it sheds light on the discomfort that many in the entertainment industry may face but may not always discuss. Sikander's story serves as a reminder that boundaries should be respected, and no one, regardless of their stature, should feel entitled to make others uncomfortable.
