Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has recently joined the list of celebrities reacting to India’s Operation Sindoor against terror centres in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The actor shared a special message on his Instagram but instantly deleted the caption, leaving fans wondering what went wrong. Additionally, he also disabled the comment section of his post.
Shahid took to his Instagram and X accounts to share a photo of an Indian Air Force aircraft. Alongside the photo, he wrote in the caption, “India doesn't provoke. But India never forgets.” He concluded his caption, adding an Indian flag emoji and ‘#OperationSindoor.’
However, the actor instantly changed the caption of his post, which reads, “#operationsindoor.” The actor’s previous post already went viral on social media.
Several Indian celebrities, including Akshay Kumar, Suneil Shetty, Sunny Deol, Rajnikant, and more, have penned congratulatory messages for the Indian army and the government. India carried out targeted military strikes on nine terrorist bases in Pakistan under Operation Sindoor, sparking widespread online support. The retaliation came after a devastating attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 innocent lives.
On the work front, Shahid Kapoor was last seen in the action thriller Deva. The film received mixed reviews from the critics and audience alike. The film failed to receive the expected response at the box office and earned around Rs 51.73–59 crore worldwide. Despite being a flop at the box office, Shahid’s performance received huge praise.
Meanwhile, the actor is now gearing up for Sangeeth Siva’s directorial film Bull. He will also star in the highly anticipated Farzi Season 2.
