Sanjay Dutt has lived many lives. Superstar, son of cinema legends Sunil Dutt and Nargis, and at one point, an inmate. Now, years later, the actor is revisiting those prison days with a mix of candor and dark humor.

On his recent appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, Sanjay spoke openly about how he kept himself occupied behind bars. "I don’t regret anything that happened in my life. The only thing I regret is that my parents left me too soon. I miss them a lot," he said, his voice dropping for a rare moment of vulnerability.

The conversation then turned practical. Dutt revealed he earned wages in jail—whether by making chairs, paper bags, or even running a makeshift radio station. "I earned wages there. Whether I made chairs or paper bags, I got paid. I even started a radio station, called Radio YCP, which played only inside the jail. I got paid for that as well. I did the radio program with topics to discuss, including comedy. Three or four other prisoners would write scripts for the show,” he shared.
