Salakaar Release Date OUT: When and where to watch Mouni Roy's spy thriller

Mouni Roy is all set to star in the upcoming high-stakes spy thriller, Salakaar, in which the past and present collide with devastating consequences. The actress underwent a challenging transformation for her role and has wrapped up her shooting in early January.

However, the makers have announced the release date of the thrilling show. The makers released a new clip of the Faruk Kabir directorial show. The teaser provided a glimpse at the series’ character, who seems to be a spy, as the film will focus on the life of the legend of an extraordinary spymaster who used sheer grit to protect the nation's security.

The makers also revealed that Salakaar will be released on August 15 on JioHotstar.

The director and co-writer, Faruk Kabir, has teased the upcoming series and said, “Salakaar is not just a spy thriller, it’s a deeply emotional narrative about fractured legacies and the cost of silence. We’re looking at espionage not only as a mission but as a burden, as a debt that passes from one generation to another.”
