Actor Vijay Deverakonda met with an accident on October 6 at Undavalli in Jogulamba Gadwala district. Vijay has reacted to the news and shared the latest update, urging fans not to stress themselves.
Taking to X on Monday evening, Vijay shared a post mentioning that he is fine and nothing has happened to him.
He wrote, "All is well. Car took a hit, but we are all fine. Went and did a strength workout as well and just got back home. My head hurts but nothing a biryani and sleep will not fix. So biggest hugs and my love to all of you. Don’t let the news stress you."
His fans and well-wishers can breathe a sigh of relief after the actor himself confirmed that he is safe.
As reported by India Today, Vijay Deverakonda was inside the car during the mishap but fortunately came out unharmed. The accident happened suddenly when a Bolero vehicle ahead of him changed direction, causing his Lexus to collide with it. While the impact left only minor damage, it startled everyone involved.
According to the publication, the actor’s Lexus hit the Bolero when it unexpectedly made a right turn, leading to the minor crash.

India Today also quoted the Police saying, “Actor Vijay Deverakonda was travelling from Puttaparthi to Hyderabad around 3 pm when a Bolero vehicle ahead suddenly turned right, causing his car to collide with its left side. Vijay and two others were in the car. Thankfully, no one was injured. He immediately switched to another vehicle, and his team filed a complaint with the police for insurance purposes.”
The incident comes just days after Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna made headlines when reports of their engagement began circulating — something fans had been eagerly waiting for. The Hindustan Times recently confirmed through Vijay’s team that the engagement is indeed official. The couple is expected to tie the knot in February 2026, though they have yet to share any personal details about the ceremony.
