Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1 continues to roar loud and proud at the box office, drawing immense love from audiences for its powerful storytelling and grand visuals. After an exceptional theatrical run and a record-breaking performance, the makers have now officially announced its digital release.
The film is set to make its global streaming premiere on Prime Video starting October 31, where it will be available in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
The streaming platform Prime Video announced it today on Instagram along with a teaser video of the film and the caption read, "get ready to witness the LEGENDary adventure of BERME. In Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam #KantaraALegendChapter1OnPrime, October 31"
Set during the time of the Kadamba dynasty, Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1 delves into the origins of the Panjurli Daiva legend — the divine protector whose spirit safeguards the sacred forests of Kantara.
The story unfolds through the interwoven lives of kings, tribes, and deities. Panjurli Daiva stands for protection, while Guliga Daiva symbolizes unyielding justice. Together, their presence creates a gripping tale of faith, retribution, and survival — laying the foundation for the mystical world audiences first witnessed in Kantara (2022).

Written, directed, and led by Rishab Shetty, the mythological action drama also stars Rukmini Vasanth, Gulshan Devaiah, and Jayaram in important roles. Produced by Hombale Films, Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1 serves as a prequel to the 2022 blockbuster Kantara – A Legend.
