As the movie Coolie, which stars Rajinikanth, gets ready for its big international premiere on August 14, 2025, the hype around it is at an all-time high.

This means that Coolie had 25% more advance sales. Experts in the industry think that the movie will easily make more than $1 million in advance sales, and that it will make more than $3 million on its first day, including premieres. Kabali is quite popular. People who work in the industry say that the hype around Coolie before it comes out is similar to the buzz behind Rajinikanth's 2016 hit Kabali.
