Bollywood actors Pankaj Tripathi and Aditi Rao Hydari are collaborating for an exciting upcoming project, Parivarik ManuRanjan. The film is said to be a family entertainer filled with laughter, love, chaos and music.
Tripathi took to his Instagram and announced the project with a series of photos with Aditi Rao. Alongside the photos, the actor wrote in the caption, “Parivaar, hungama aur parivarik mahual ewam swaad! Shoot begins for Parivarik ManuRanjan with the talented @aditiraohydari & directed by @varun.v.sharma.”
However, the actors have also started the shooting of the film on June 5 in Lucknow.
In the photos, Pankaj Tripathi and Aditi Rao can be seen posing for the cameras along with the crew of the film.
One photo also featured a clap board, which showed the actors were shooting Scene 39, Shot 4 and Take 2.
Meanwhile, the actors and the director have also reflected on the upcoming film, collaboration, and teased about the plotline.
Pankaj Tripathi shared, “There was something so charmingly simple and yet irresistibly funny about the script that I couldn’t say no. It’s the kind of story that sneaks up on you with its warmth.”
The actor added, “This is my first time working with Aditi, and I’ve always admired her craft towards acting. Also excited to creatively partner with Varun Sharma and Ali Abbas Zafar and Producers Vinod Bhanushali and Himanshu Mehra, who are backing a story like this”
Aditi Rao Hydari recalled, “When I read the script, I smiled through it. For me, it’s rare to come across a story in this universe. The situational comedy, the twists and the unexpected turns and more importantly, the warmth and simplicity that is the heart of the story.”
She further noted, “Getting to work with Pankaj sir is going to be a treat. He is a master of this genre, and for me this is going to be a big learning experience and a joy.”
Meanwhile, filmmaker Varun V. Sharma claimed that the story of the film is close to his heart and is rooted in the chaos and comedy of life. He also expressed his excitement about Tripathi and Aditi Rao’s collaboration and teased that they are bringing something “refreshingly warm, honest, and hilariously relatable to the screen.”
Parivarik ManuRanjan marks the first time that Pankaj Tripathi and Aditi Rao Hydari have collaborated for a project. Besides this, the project also marks the launch of a strategic partnership between Bhanushali Studios Limited and AAZ Films.
Parivarik ManuRanjan is produced by Vinod Bhanushali and Himanshu Mehra with creative production by Ali Abbas Zafar. Directed by Varun V. Sharma and written by Brijendra Kala and Varun Sharma, the upcoming film is said to blend situational comedy with heartfelt emotion.
The film is set against the backdrop of the city of romance, culture, language and food - Lucknow.
