The renowned Japanese beauty brand Clé de Peau Beauté has formally announced the Australian movie star Nicole Kidman as its new global brand ambassador.
Fans were delighted by Nicole's gorgeous appearance as well as a touching cameo from her 14-year-old daughter, Faith Margaret, in the sophisticated new promotional video that was released on Friday to reveal the news.
Nicole appears in a number of glitzy and effortlessly stylish outfits in the primarily black-and-white campaign video.
Faith appears on screen alongside her mother in a particularly heartwarming scene, and the two give each other a gentle, lingering hug.
Faith's rich brunette hair creates a dramatic contrast to Nicole's signature blonde, highlighting the beauty of their familial relationship.
Fans were quick to react to the mother-daughter moment, praising both the visual aesthetic and the emotional depth. One admirer commented, “Faith Margaret is a beautiful young lady.” Another added, “What a beautiful picture of them hugging each other. Looking at their faces it shows the depth of love they have for each other. That's pretty beautiful to see.”
However, not all comments were celebratory. A more critical viewer wrote, “They are beautiful but just goes to show, not your talent or beauty, but nepotism at its best…”
Nicole, who shares Faith and elder daughter Sunday Rose (17) with husband and country singer Keith Urban, also has two older children — Bella (32) and Connor (30) — from her previous marriage to Tom Cruise. Speaking to People magazine about working with Faith on the campaign, Nicole said:
“My other daughter [Sunday] is modeling now, and so when they said, ‘Would Faith be in this with you?’ I was like, ‘Faithy, do you want to be in this?’ And she was like, ‘Yes.’ So we flew out together and we were able to just have fun on the set.”

She continued: “It was just sort of a magical, dreamlike experience, which I hope when people see the campaign, they get… It was one of those things where you say, ‘This isn’t a job. This is actually a gift.’”
The Oscar winner doesn't appear to be slowing down. Nicole, who previously starred in Babygirl, Holland, and Nine Perfect Strangers, is currently working with Sandra Bullock on the eagerly awaited Practical Magic sequel.
