As a result of the flooding in Mauritius, Shilpa Rao, the singer, has declared that her live concert in Mauritius will be postponed. Initially planned for April 27th, 2024, the event has been rescheduled for June 15th, 2024.

In light of the recent floods in Mauritius, singer Shilpa Rao has made the decision to delay her upcoming live concert in the country.

Mauritius recently experienced severe flooding due to unusually heavy rains, leading to the closure of its stock exchange, banks, and several offices. The authorities suspended trading and encouraged non-essential service employees to work from home. The rainfall was so significant that it was three times more than the average for this time of year in the western part of the country.

Due to these floods, singer Shilpa Rao announced the postponement of her live concert in Mauritius. Originally scheduled for April 27th, 2024, the concert has been moved to June 15th, 2024. Shilpa shared the update on social media, asking for understanding and patience as the new arrangements are being made.
