RIIZE honoured with appreciation plaque by LA City Council for promoting the city worldwide

RIIZE, the boy band that has captivated fans and listeners since their debut, received a prestigious commendation from the LA City Council.

On May 21 PST, RIIZE was honoured by the LA City Council with a plaque of appreciation for promoting Los Angeles globally through their hit debut single, 'Get A Guitar', whose music video was filmed in the city.

RIIZE was invited to the LA City Hall on Tuesday, May 21, to receive the honour after concluding their RIIZING DAY fan-con tour stop at Peacock Theater the previous day. The LA City Council awarded RIIZE with a plaque of appreciation for promoting the city worldwide through their debut song, 'Get A Guitar', and its music video, which was entirely shot in LA.

LA City Council member John Lee praised RIIZE, noting that the band had significantly connected Los Angeles with the global community through their music. He remarked that the 'Get A Guitar' music video serves as a love letter to LA, showcasing its major landmarks and capturing the city's essence beautifully.
The 'Get A Guitar' music video highlights prominent attractions in Los Angeles, such as the Los Angeles Theatre and the 6th Street Bridge. These iconic locations were featured prominently, contributing to the video's widespread appeal and the city's global promotion.

During the acceptance speech, RIIZE member Anton expressed the band's gratitude and affection for Los Angeles. He mentioned that the city holds special memories for RIIZE, including filming the 'Get A Guitar' music video, performing at the KCON special stage, and being chosen by the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board to promote their campaign. Anton emphasised that RIIZE has developed a unique connection with LA and has endeavoured to capture the city's creativity and vibrance in their work. He concluded by expressing the band's hope to continue this meaningful relationship with the city.
