In an exciting new development, OutStation, India’s first globally positioned boy band, is all set to open for the world-famous Senegalese-American artist Akon during his much-awaited three-city India tour. The performance will take place on November 16 at NESCO, Goregaon, Mumbai.
This vibrant teen I-Pop group is poised to leave a lasting impression under the guidance of renowned international hitmaker Savan Kotecha, a 17-time Grammy nominee as well as an Oscar and Golden Globe nominee.
Their special performance will include a power-packed mix of original tracks, setting the perfect tone for Akon’s main act.

When their creative project, OutStation Prom, made its debut in Mumbai, it caused a stir as the country's first teen pop prom night. Thousands of fans gathered for a unique celebration of music, youth, and dreams.
The prom night was an immediate success; tickets sold out in a matter of hours, which is remarkable given that the band had not yet released a single song. This achievement demonstrated the strong, natural connection OutStation has with its expanding audience.

Talking about the inspiration behind the event, the band explained, “We want to create a space where young people can celebrate and feel at home. The idea of a prom night is something that we all aspired to growing up. It just felt like the most natural and entertaining way to celebrate our own release while giving our fans a night they definitely wouldn't forget. Everything we do as OutStation should feel special and we hope each and every one who came and screamed for us felt that as much as we did.”
Their upcoming performance at Akon’s concert marks a major milestone in OutStation’s journey. In just four months, they’ve built a passionate fanbase, and their debut single—set to release on November 18, 2025—will arrive right after this landmark performance. This moment will further establish them as the pioneers of India’s rising teen pop movement.
