Veteran actor Dharmendra, who is 88-year-old, walked to the polling booth to cast his vote. The actor, who has made a comeback on the silver screen with hit movies like 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' and 'Teir Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya', smiled for the cameras as he went inside the polling booth.
He was seen in his signature hat, maroon check shirt and trousers.
Later, his wife and BJP MP Hema Malini was also seen arriving at a polling booth to exercise her franchise. She was accompanied by her elder daughter Esha Deol.
Hema Malini was seen in a peach colour silk suit and Esha sported a white suit with floral dupatta.
Later, Randeep Hooda was also seen as the actors reached their respective area booths to cast their vote.
Randeep Hooda said: "In a democracy, through voting, you have the right to decide your future and that of your country. You must vote...Participate in this festival of democracy and vote."
Actor Suniel Shetty also cast his vote.
Singer Kailash Kher spoke to the media after casting his vote and said he is happy and surprised that Mumbaikars are coming out to vote in this heat.
"I am pleasantly surprised that so many Mumbaikars - old and young - are coming out to vote." He also said: "Ae Mere Bharat, Bharat badal raha hai ab, iss badlav ke kaaran hai aap. Rashtra hit mein aise hi jude rahiye and vote karte rahiye."
Earlier many actors like Akshay Kumar, Jahnvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Paresh Rawal, Vidya Balan, Sanya Malhotra, and many more cast their vote.
Maharashtra will conduct polling in 13 Lok Sabha constituencies, including six in Mumbai, in the fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections on Monday (May 20). This marks the final polling process in the state, which has been conducted over five phases: April 19, April 26, May 7, May 13, and May 20.
