"Marty Supreme" boasts a script penned by Safdie and Ronald Bronstein, with production duties shared by Safdie, Chalamet, Bronstein, Eli Bush, and Anthony Katagas. This project marks a significant reunion between Safdie and A24, who previously collaborated on the critically acclaimed films "Uncut Gems" and "Good Time."

A24 confirmed the exciting news on social media, posting, "Josh Safdie’s MARTY SUPREME starring @RealChalamet. Coming soon." The anticipation is palpable as fans await a story inspired by the legendary Reisman. Known as the “wizard of table tennis,” Reisman was a table tennis champion who started his career hustling in Manhattan, playing for bets and prize money. His illustrious career spanned decades, during which he won 22 major ping pong titles and five bronze medals at the World Table Tennis Championships. In a remarkable feat, he became the oldest player to win an open national competition in a racket sport at the age of 67.
