Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has reportedly created a rift between him and the makers of an upcoming film titled ‘Rakshas’.

The ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ actor abruptly opted out of the film after shooting for a mere 3 days. Earlier, it was being reported that Ranveer Singh and the director Prasanth Varma decided to go their own ways after creative differences, but now it is being revealed that Ranveer Singh walked out of the film without any explanation.

A source spoke to Times Now and revealed that it was actually Ranveer Singh who was after Prasanth Varma to make this film. Reportedly, Varma had plans to start a different project - a Telugu film after ‘Hanu-Man’ - but he decided to put that on hold and pursue ‘Rakshas’ after seeing Ranveer Singh’s “enthusiasm”.

“Ranveer flew down to shoot with us. Contrary to reports, he didn’t shoot a first-look video with us. He actually shot for the film for three days with us. We packed up happily… The next thing we know he sends us a message saying he would not be able to do the film. No explanation was offered as to why. We were stunned. Making it worse was the fact that someone leaked this news to the Mumbai media. We would have dealt with the crisis discreetly quietly. In Mumbai, they like to create controversy even for unprofessional behaviour. We don’t work that way,” the source said.
