Emma Roberts is set to tie the knot!
The 33-year-old American Horror Story actress shared her exciting news on Instagram on Tuesday, July 16, announcing her engagement to actor Cody John.

“putting this here before my mom tells everyone,” Roberts wrote alongside a photo of the smiling couple, proudly displaying her engagement ring.
This announcement references her mom, Kelly Cunningham, who earlier this year posted a photo of Roberts' 3-year-old son Rhodes, whom she shares with ex Garrett Hedlund, on social media without giving her a heads-up.
Roberts had commented on this incident on her Instagram Stories on February 9, saying, “When your mom posts your sons [sic] face without asking but you love them both so whatever,” as she reshared Cunningham’s photo of Rhodes.
Cody John, known for his roles in Hulu's Wu-Tang: An American Saga and The CW's In the Dark, first confirmed their relationship in August 2022. He posted a sweet photo of the couple kissing on Instagram, captioned "sweet sweet."

Roberts made their relationship Instagram official later that year, posting a photo of them holding hands on New Year's Eve with the caption, "#2022 I loved you happy new year hotties!"
Their relationship continued to blossom publicly. In January 2023, they were seen sharing a kiss in New York City. A few months later, the couple was spotted holding hands in Los Angeles, solidifying their status as a beloved pair among fans.
