Anand Mahindra, the Chairperson of Mahindra and Mahindra, recently took to X (Formerly Twitter) to congratulate the Indian filmmakers that bagged major awards at the 77th Cannes Film Festival.

The billionaire posted pictures of Payal Kapadia’s ‘All We Image As Light’ and Konstantin Bojanov’s ‘The Shameless’. He captioned the tweet saying - “India in the limelight at #cannes2024. Intense Filmmakers . Intense actors. May their tribe flourish.”

The 77th Cannes Film Festival was a great one for Indian cinema. ‘All We Imagine As Light’ took home the Grand Prix award at the prestigious international film festival, while Chidananda S Naik's ‘Sunflowers Were the First Ones to Know’ won the La Cinef for Best Short Film award and Anasuya Sengupta of ‘The Shameless’ won the Best Actress award at Cannes.
