Tom Cruise starrer Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning finally hit the theatres on May 17, and the early reviews from the audience are pouring on the internet. The latest instalment in the franchise marks the end of the saga, and fans are excited to watch Cruise’s thrilling action, jaw-dropping stunts and heart-racing mission one last time on the big screen.

However, Mission: Impossible 8 notably received mixed reviews from the viewers on X (formerly Twitter). While some praised the action scenes, others called it the weakest film in the franchise.

One person wrote, “Mission impossible final reckoning is one giant clusterfuck… the weakest film in the MI franchise.” Another internet user penned, “#MissionImpossible The Final Reckoning is very complicated. Less action-heavy than you may expect and in many ways feels incredibly bloated. Exposition is handled better, and when the action is happening, it’s jaw-dropping. Some really high highs, but some really low lows.”
