Hollywood stars Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) have welcomed their baby girl on March 27, 2025—nearly five months after the end of their engagement in November 2024. Despite the split, the couple appears to be on the same page when it comes to co-parenting their newborn daughter.
Fox and MGK, who got engaged in January 2022, have had a high-profile relationship with many ups and downs. However, their recent focus has shifted from romance to raising their child in a healthy and supportive environment. MGK took to Instagram to share the news of their daughter’s arrival, posting a heartfelt video of himself holding her and writing, “She’s finally here!! Our little celestial seed.”
A source told People magazine that Fox and MGK are “working together to raise their daughter,” despite the challenges they’ve faced. “Whatever issues they have, Megan and MGK both are on the same page when it comes to co-parenting,” the source said. “Right now they’re amicable.” The insider also mentioned that while their focus is currently on their daughter, “No one would be surprised if they gave their relationship another try down the line (sic).”
The relationship between Fox, 38, and Kelly, 34, had reportedly become rocky prior to their breakup. According to People, after the breakup, Fox was not in frequent contact with MGK. “They tried to make things work for many years. It was exhausting for Megan. She’s done with him now. She just wants to focus on the baby and her boys now,” a source said.
Fox is already a mother to three sons—Noah Shannon, 12, Bodhi Ransom, 10, and Journey River, 8—with her ex-husband, actor Brian Austin Green. She has reportedly been receiving strong support from Green, 51, and his fiancée Sharna Burgess as she adjusts to life after her split with Kelly.
A source told People in December 2024 that Fox was “in a good place with both Brian and Sharna. She gets along really well with Sharna.” Burgess also shared her support publicly, defending their co-parenting efforts on Instagram Stories on March 27, 2025. This came after Green posted a message from Kelly, who had allegedly criticized him for inquiring about the baby’s due date.
“When kids are in a split household the greatest thing we can do is make them love and feel safe in both homes,” Burgess wrote. She added, “Our kids are so excited about the arrival of their baby sister and we are excited FOR them. (sic)”
Despite their turbulent past, it’s clear that Fox and MGK are putting their daughter’s well-being first. This new chapter reflects their shared dedication to raising her in a loving and stable environment, even as they navigate life on separate paths.
