Actress Malaika Arora's father, Anil Mehta, tragically passed away by suicide today, September 11, at his residence in Mumbai. Malaika has shared an emotional post on social media, expressing her deep condolences and heartfelt sorrow over the unexpected loss of her beloved father.

Malaika shared the official statement regarding her father's demise on Instagram. The post read, "We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear father, Anil Mehta. He was a gentle soul, a devoted grandfather, a loving husband, and our best friend. Our family is in deep shock by this loss, and we kindly request privacy from the media and well wishers during this difficult time."

She further thanked everyone for their understanding during this difficult times.
