The absence of the Sinha brothers did not go unnoticed, and soon after the wedding, rumors and speculations began to swirl. Various media outlets and tabloids jumped to conclusions, with some attributing the brothers' absence to potential family discord or disagreements. However, Luv Sinha chose to address these speculations head-on.

Luv broke his silence by sharing his perspective on social media, stating, "The reasons are very clear as to why I didn’t attend, and would not associate with some people no matter what."
One of the primary reasons Luv cited for his absence was his discomfort with certain individuals associated with the wedding. He highlighted concerns about the antecedents of the groom, Zaheer Iqbal, and his family. In a tweet, Luv shared a passage from a media column that discussed these concerns. The column detailed how carefully curated news stories about Zaheer’s family business had avoided addressing certain "grey areas," such as Zaheer's father’s alleged proximity to a politician with ongoing Enforcement Directorate (ED) inquiries.
