Bollywood stars Kriti Sanon and Ranveer Singh recently had the unique opportunity to participate in a fashion show on the banks of the Ganges in Varanasi, an experience Ranveer described as far superior to any he's had in Mumbai's upscale venues.

The event, orchestrated by famed fashion designer Manish Malhotra, took place at Namo Ghat and celebrated the traditional Banarasi saree under the theme 'Banarasi Saree - A Tapestry of Indian Culture & Craftsmen.'

Photos and videos from the event have spread widely on social media, capturing the stunning backdrop and the vibrant display of Indian textiles.

Kriti Sanon, in particular, shared striking images of herself from the show, where she was dressed in a rich red Banarasi silk lehenga, complemented by a golden dupatta and a traditional maang-tikka. She expressed her pride in representing the craftsmanship of the Bunkar community's textiles, highlighting the global significance of their work.
