KBC 17: Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, Commander Prerna Deosthalee and Colonel Sophia Qureshi win Rs 25 lakhs

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan's 17th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) has gotten off to a strong start, and its Independence Day episode was genuinely historic.

Wing Commander Vyomika Singh of the Indian Air Force, Commander Prerna Deosthalee of the Indian Navy, and Colonel Sophia Qureshi of the Indian Army were the three trailblazing female officers who graced the hot seat and performed remarkably well in the game on August 15. The three officers' Rs 25 lakh victory represented a new milestone for KBC, even though they were unable to attempt the Rs 50 lakh question.
