Karan Johar shares unseen throwback photos to wish mother Hiroo Johar on her 82nd birthday, writes: “she grounds me everyday’

Karan Johar, a renowned filmmaker and producer of Bollywood, shared a sweet birthday wish for his mother, Hiroo Johar. The filmmaker’s mother turned 82 on March 18.

Karan shared two throwback photos with his mother and penned a tribute for her. The filmmaker wrote, “My mom turns 82 today… I only have gratitude in my heart to the universe for giving me the privilege of being born to her…”

Karan further reminisced about his childhood and revealed that his mother used to ground him every day. He continued, “She grounds me everyday ( “they gave you an award ??? Why ??) she centres me (“be grateful… it could go away some day “) She reprimands me chapter 1 (“what are you wearing Karan ???”).”

He added, “She reprimands me chapter 2 (“you are always on the phone!!!! “) BUT she is my world, my galaxy and my big love story with and of life.” The filmmaker concluded his tribute while saying, “love you Mama.”
The birthday tribute featured two throwback pictures with his mother. The first photo on the slide from his younger days features his mother. He hugged his mother in the pic. Meanwhile, the second photo was from his childhood. He smiled for the camera wearing a birthday cap while his mother, Hiroo Johar, lifted the filmmaker in arms.
