Superstar Kamal Haasan has wrapped up shooting for his latest project, a Mani Ratnam directorial Thug Life.
In a recent post on X, the film's production house excitedly announced the completion of shooting on Tuesday. They also shared a video showcasing behind-the-scenes moments from the filming of Mani Ratnam's project. The video culminated with Mani Ratnam, Kamal Haasan, and the entire team celebrating the wrap of production.
"Shooting Completed #Thuglife enters the next phase @ikamalhaasan #ManiRatnam," the caption read.
Titled Thug Life, the film will be co-produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies, Raaj Kamal Films International, and Ratnam’s Madras Talkies.
Thug Life is being described as a gangster drama and features an impressive ensemble cast that includes Silambarasan, Trisha Krishnan, Ashok Selvan, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Abhirami, Nassar, Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Vaiyapuri. The film's soundtrack will be composed by the renowned A.R. Rahman.

The production house, Raaj Kamal Films International, shared an intriguing title announcement video on Instagram. In this captivating clip, Kamal Haasan appears in a striking, never-before-seen look, standing against a desolate, misty backdrop while wrapped in a rugged cloak.
The veteran filmmaker and actor are coming together once again after 35 years for the Tamil star’s 234th feature film. They previously collaborated on the critically acclaimed 1987 film Nayakan.
