Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan, known for child actor Harshali Malhotra’s unforgettable portrayal of Munni, has completed 10 years since its release.
To celebrate the milestone, director Kabir Khan shared behind-the-scenes photos and a heartfelt note on Instagram, thanking fans for their continued love and support for the film.
He wrote, Happy Bajrangi Day It’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years since Bajrangi Bhaijaan first found its way into people’s hearts. Over the last decade I have been totally overwhelmed by the love this film keeps accumulating all over the world."
"We set out to tell a story of love and hope in a world that sometimes forgets these emotions. To this day I meet people who tell me how this film makes them laugh and cry every time they see it. And that to me, is the real reward - knowing that Bajrangi didn’t just entertain, it healed.#10yearsofbajrangibhaijaan," added the director.
When the post went viral, fans immediately expressed their emotions by leaving heartfelt messages and fervent requests for a sequel in the comments section.

Recently during an interview with Pinkvilla Kabir Khan also spoke about the possibility of Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. “We have definitely spoken about Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. In today’s day and age, when all franchises are doing well, we are being careful about Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 as we don’t want to make a sequel to the most popular film of last two decades for the same of it. Salman and I are in complete agreement of the fact that we need to come across a story that’s as exciting as Bajrangi Bhaijaan," he stated.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan follows the emotional journey of Pawan, a devoted follower of Lord Hanuman, who discovers a mute girl lost in Haryana. Realizing she’s from Pakistan, he embarks on a courageous mission to reunite her with her family across the border. The film stars Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Harshaali Malhotra, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles.
