Diane Keaton dies at 79: Leonardo DiCaprio, Jane Fonda, Kareena Kapoor and more celebs lead tributes

He penned in the caption, “Diane Keaton was one of a kind. Brilliant, funny, and unapologetically herself. A legend, an icon, and a truly kind human being. I had the honor of working with her at 18. She will be deeply missed.”

DiCaprio played Diane Keaton’s nephew in Marvin’s Room, where she earned one of her four Oscar nominations.

Diane Keaton's Book Club co-star, Jane Fonda, also mourned the death of the veteran actress. She shared a picture of the veteran actress and expressed her disbelief with the news.

She penned in the caption, “It’s hard to believe...or accept…that Diane has passed. She was always a spark of life and light, constantly giggling at her own foibles, being limitlessly creative…in her acting, her wardrobe, her books, her friends, her homes, her library, her world view.”

Diane Keaton won the Academy Award for Best Actress in 1977 for Woody Allen’s 'Annie Hall'.
