The Telangana government has announced the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards today. Among other top awards, Kalki 2898 AD, Allu Arjun and Nivetha Thomas turned out to be the biggest winners of the prominent state-level accolades.
Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka announced the awards ceremony, which will take place on June 14 at HITEX, Hyderabad, earlier this month. The project is a homage to revolutionary poet and cultural icon Gaddar, seeking to honour and proliferate local talent and narratives.
“Gaddar has taken Telangana’s cultural ideology to the world level,” the deputy CM said about the need to promote the state’s cinema heritage.

Best Director Nag Ashwin – Kalki 2898 AD
Best Leading Actor: Allu Arjun (Pushpa 2: The Rule)
Best Leading Actress: Nivetha Thomas (35 Chinna Katha Kadhu)
First Best Feature Film – Kalki 2898 AD
Second Best Feature Film: Pottel
Third Best Feature Film: Lucky Baskhar
Best Supporting Actor: SJ Suryah (Saripodhaa Sanivaaram)
Best Supporting Role (Female): Sharanya Pradeep (Ambajipeta Marriage Band)
Best Music Director: Bheems Ceciroleo (Razakar)
Sid Sriram – (Ooru Peru Bhairavakona) – Ooru Peru Bhairavakona Best Male Playback Singer: Sid Sriram (Ooru Peru Bhairavakona)
Best Female Playback Singer: Shreya Ghoshal (Pushpa 2: The Rule)

Best Children’s Film For: 35 Chinna Katha Kaadu
