Television star Kavita Kaushik, best known for her role as Inspector Chandramukhi Chautala in F.I.R., has stunned fans by recreating one of her iconic photoshoots after two decades. The actress shared a reel on Instagram where she revealed the original backless shot from 20 years ago and then unveiled its recreated version in 2025.

In the original photograph, Kavita posed with a white jacket draped stylishly across her shoulders, exuding confidence and youthful fierceness. For the recreation, she couldn’t find a similar white jacket and instead opted for her favorite black biker jacket.

The recreated pictures capture a more evolved version of the actress — still bold, but with a maturity that reflects her journey.

Kavita candidly admitted that stepping back into the same frame after two decades was not without hesitation. “To be honest, I felt shy… Rowdy young fiery energy replaced by softer, feminine vulnerability,” she wrote. She added that she now prefers the person she has become: “I like the ’20 years after’ me… I love the evolved softer and rounder version of me.”

The actress emphasised that the photoshoot was never about competing with anyone else but about reflecting her personal growth. “Because I’m my own competition,” she captioned, summing up the spirit behind the recreation.
