She shared a deeply emotional message on Instagram that showed both her grief and the weight of returning to public life. The veteran star passed away recently, leaving Bollywood and millions of fans shattered. For Esha, the loss is personal, irreparable, and still raw.
In her Instagram Story, Esha shared a heartfelt note, addressing her audience with honesty and vulnerability. She explained that she had several work commitments pending, but stepping back into routine has been incredibly difficult as she continues to mourn her father.

“I had kept a few work commitments on hold for a long time which I would be posting and sharing with you all now in the coming days. Please understand me as a human and most importantly as a daughter who is still grieving the loss of her most loving precious father. A loss I would never get over. If I had things my way I would wish to not be on this platform for sometime and just take a break. But I can’t do that. So try and be kind and understanding. Thank you for the love and support always. Love you all.”
Dharmendra, one of Indian cinema’s most iconic and beloved actors, leaves behind a towering legacy. For Esha, however, the legacy is secondary to the irreplaceable presence of a father who shaped her life with affection and guidance. Her note makes it clear that this is not a loss she can move past easily, nor one she feels ready to speak about at length.
