TV actress and vlogger Dipika Kakar, who has been undergoing treatment for her liver cancer diagnosis, is not in good shape of late. The Sasural Simar Ka actress informed her 4 million fans on YouTube via her vlog that she had caught a viral infection and, due to her treatment, her condition is not good.
She shared a vlog to celebrate her 4 million subscribers on YouTube, and she marked the joyous occasion with her sister-in-law Saba, husband Shoaib Ibrahim, in-laws, and son Ruhaan.
During the celebrations, she looked visibly weak, and she informed her fans that she caught an infection from her son, Ruhaan, and in her case, it got worse due to the ongoing treatment.
She further shared that her doctor had asked her to get in touch the moment she feels unwell or such a thing happens. Dipika said since she has been administered heavy doses of antibiotic and anti-allergic medicines, she has not been feeling well. She was also feeling very weak.
"I am not feeling well. Saba and the entire family got together to celebrate my 4 million followers on YouTube. I got an infection from Ruhaan, and in my case, it can get severe because I am still undergoing treatment, and at that time, the body's immunity is very low. The doctor said to call him right away if there is a fever or virus. We did the same and got in touch with my doctor and he immediately put me on a heavy dose of antibiotics and anti-allergy medication. It is very heavy on me. I am eating a heavy breakfast today because I need energy. I hope I feel better soon, as I was really down yesterday. Mujhe bahut weakness ho rahi thi and bahut heavy mg ki tablets andar chali gayi hai," she told her fans and followers.
Dipika Kakar has been diagnosed with stage 2 liver cancer. She had severe stomach pain and doctors found a tennis ball–sized tumor in her liver. In June, she went through a 14-hour surgery, where the tumor, part of her liver, and her gallbladder were removed. After 11 days in the hospital, she went home.
Now she is undergoing targeted therapy, which has given her side effects like tongue ulcers. It has been an emotional time for her and her family, especially since she has a young son, but in her own words she is staying 'strong and hopeful.'
