Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was seen visiting veteran actor Dharmendra at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital late on Sunday evening. His car pulled up quietly at the entrance, but the moment was impossible to miss. Fans and photographers had already gathered outside, hoping for any sign of assurance about the 89-year-old actor’s health. Salman remained seated in the passenger seat, his expression serious, and headed inside to check on Dharmendra.
Dharmendra has been undergoing treatment at the hospital since late October. What began as a routine health check reportedly turned more serious after he experienced difficulty breathing. Over the past few days, there has been growing concern among fans, especially as unverified rumours began circulating online.

Sunny Deol’s team addressed those concerns earlier, sharing a brief but important update. “Mr. Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as available. We request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family’s right to privacy.” The message was enough to bring some relief, and social media quickly filled with messages of love and prayers.
Salman’s visit holds emotional weight. His bond with the Deol family goes back decades; he has often referred to Dharmendra as a mentor and someone he deeply admires. Their families have shared celebrations, film shoots, and long-standing friendship. Salman himself has spoken in past interviews about how Dharmendra’s humility and grace shaped his own understanding of stardom.
Hema Malini was also photographed at the hospital earlier, along with Sunny Deol and other members of the family. The atmosphere has remained quiet, respectful, and closely guarded, as the family navigates the situation privately.
Dharmendra continues to remain one of the most loved figures in Indian cinema. His career spans more than sixty years, filled with unforgettable performances in films like Sholay, Chupke Chupke, Satyakam, and Anupama. Even in recent years, he has shown the same warmth and ease on screen. His role in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023) was widely praised, especially for the tender sincerity he brought to it.
Looking ahead, Dharmendra is set to appear in Sriram Raghavan’s Ikkis and Arbaaz Khan’s Maine Pyaar Kiya Phir Se. For now, the focus remains on recovery — and an entire nation is hoping, quietly and collectively, for his return home.
