BTS' Jungkook gave fans an exciting glimpse of his upcoming documentary, JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL, through BTS' official social media platforms and BANGTAN TV’s YouTube channel. The documentary, set to premiere globally in select theaters on September 18, 2024, marks Jungkook’s first feature film to be released in cinemas, sparking immense anticipation among fans worldwide.
The documentary offers a unique and personal look into Jungkook's journey as he prepares for the release of his debut solo album, GOLDEN. The preview showcases electrifying performances from his world tour, paired with exclusive behind-the-scenes footage that highlights the dedication and meticulous creative process that goes into his work. Fans also catch a glimpse of Jungkook’s personal reflections and insights as an artist, idol, and individual.
In addition to showcasing Jungkook’s musical prowess, JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL delves into his life off-camera, offering never-before-seen interview footage that reveals his thoughts and experiences during the making of GOLDEN.
On August 14, Jungkook announced ticket details for the documentary on the exclusive website, www.jungkookiamstill.com. Worldwide ticket sales will begin on August 21 at 9 am EDT/6 am PDT, while tickets in Korea will go on sale starting September 4.
As fans gear up for the release of JUNG KOOK: I AM STILL, they can also catch Jungkook in the travel variety show Are You Sure?!, currently streaming on Disney+. The eight-episode series, featuring Jungkook and fellow BTS member Jimin, follows the duo on an impromptu vacation filled with adventures in the United States, Jeju Island, and Sapporo, offering a fun and candid look at their lives before military enlistment.
Jungkook, who is currently fulfilling his compulsory military service, is expected to be discharged by June 2025.
