The makers of Tere Ishk Mein treated fans to a first look on Friday evening in Mumbai, releasing a trailer that promises a rollercoaster of love, longing, and heartbreak.
Fans are already giddy with excitement for the film, which is a spiritual sequel to Aanand L. Rai's 2013 smash hit Raanjhanaa.
The story, which stars Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, delves deeply into the intensity of love—the kind that causes hearts to race, leads to arguments, and occasionally leaves one person burning while the other aches.
Dhanush plays Indian Air Force Flight Lieutenant Shankar in the teaser, and Kriti's character observes him with a mixture of anxiety and interest. As a fitting metaphor for the highs and lows of their turbulent romance, Shankar is later seen piloting an aeroplane.
The line "Still aggressive and angry, you love this image of yours, right?" that Kriti asks is one of the most striking in the trailer. Their relationship is depicted as complex, combining elements of vulnerability and ferocious passion.
In flashbacks, Kriti intervenes to stop Dhanush from engaging in a violent altercation and vows to help him become a more composed individual. "I might burn up Delhi if I start loving you," he cautions. The bittersweet peaks of their love story are captured by the snippets of their happier wintertime moments in Delhi that are scattered throughout these moments.
With songs already going viral online, A. R. Rahman's music adds yet another level of emotion.
Although there is no denying the chemistry between Dhanush and Kriti, the film's soul comes from Rai's ability to portray heartbreak, longing, and the messy, genuine side of love.
Sushil Dahiya and Prabhu Deva are also part of the cast, which was written by Himanshu Rai and Neeraj Yadav.
Tere Ishk Mein promises to be a cinematic experience that stays with you long after the credits have rolled thanks to its blend of passion, conflict, and heart-wrenching imagery.
On November 28, 2025, the movie opens in theatres.
