As Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday on 5 November draws near, the superstar has decided to celebrate in a way only he can like through the magic of cinema.
Instead of the usual glitzy parties and red-carpet events, SRK is inviting fans to join him on a nostalgic journey with a special Shah Rukh Khan Film Festival, kicking off on 31 October.
The event will bring some of his most iconic films back to theatres across India and around the world, allowing audiences to relive the moments that made him the King of Bollywood.
Announcing the news on his social media, Shah Rukh’s signature wit shone through.
He wrote, “Some of my previous films are coming back to the theatres. The man in them hasn’t changed much — just the hair... and a little more handsome. The Shah Rukh Khan Film Festival begins on 31st October! In select theatres across India, in association with PVR INOX. A YRF International release across the Middle East, North America, the UK, Europe, and Australia. T&C Apply.”
He tagged @RedChilliesEnt, @_PVRCinemas, @INOXMovies, and @yrf, along with hashtags for the featured films — #KabhiHaanKabhiNaa, #DilSe, #Devdas, #MainHoonNa, #OmShantiOm, #ChennaiExpress, and #Jawan.
The carefully chosen lineup showcases Shah Rukh’s journey from a passionate newcomer to one of cinema’s most beloved icons. Fans will witness all facets of SRK, including the patriotic fervour of Main Hoon Na, the haunting intensity of Dil Se, the poetic grandeur of Devdas, and the boy-next-door charm of Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa.

Speaking about the festival, SRK had earlier shared, “Cinema has always been my home, and seeing these films find their way back to the big screen feels like a beautiful reunion. These movies are not just my stories, they belong to the audience that has lovingly embraced them over the last 33 years.”
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is currently gearing up for his next film King, where he will star alongside Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan and others.
