Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan has recently visited Kedarnath and shared a glimpse of her spiritual trip. The actress also admitted that despite her several trips to Kedarnath, the place still leaves her awestruck.
Sara took to her Instagram and shared a series of pictures and videos from her Kedarnath trip. She accompanied her post with the caption, “Jai Shree Kedar. The only place in the world that feels totally familiar and still leaves me awestruck and in wonder every single time.”
The actress concluded her post by writing, “Only gratitude. Thank you for giving me everything that i have and making me everything that i am.”
The actress also visited the Rudranath temple just before the doors closed for the winter season. The actress has a deep affection for Kedarnath and frequently visits here for darshan.
She visited Bholenath Temple and meditated in the temple complex. During this time, she received blessings from the chief priest, Kedar Ling, and also met with pilgrim gurus.
She enjoyed meals in the mountains and also met locals and clicked pictures with them.
This is not the first time Sara has visited Kedarnath Dham. The actress visits the temple almost every year. She has previously revealed how visiting the place has helped her discover herself.
In a previous Times Now Summit, Sara talked candidly about her strong spiritual ties to Kedarnath. She explained that she had first visited the holy shrine long before she became an actress, not realising how unexpectedly it would influence her path.
Kedarnath became her haven of self-discovery as she transitioned from a student in New York to learning about India, from a budding artist to a self-reliant woman.
Sara said at the time, "The energy in the temple, the energy in the valley, in general. And I think I can't imagine that there was a whole life, a whole Sara - two decades of her - without Kedarnath. Today I can't imagine that. I feel its a very humbling feeling to go back to home - to Kedarnath. There is an attachment to it that I don't know how to explain."
She added, "I discovered myself as an actor, an adult, as a working girl, as someone who is spiritually inclined, as someone who likes the ekaant of the mountains."
On the work front, Sara Ali Khan was last seen in Metro… In Dino, which received mixed responses from the audience.
