Bollywood and television industries are mourning the loss of veteran actor Satish Shah, who passed away on October 25 at the age of 74 due to kidney-related complications. Known for his impeccable comic timing and versatility, his sudden demise has left the industry and fans heartbroken.

Among the first to pay tribute was legendary comedian Johnny Lever, who shared an emotional message on X (formerly Twitter) remembering his long-time friend and colleague. He wrote, *“Feeling extremely sad to share that we’ve lost a great artist & my dearest friend of over 40 years. It’s hard to believe—I had spoken to him just two days ago. Satish Bhai, you will truly be missed. Your immense contribution to film and television will never be forgotten. *

Satish Shah’s career spanned over five decades, with memorable performances across film and television. He rose to fame with cult classics like Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro and went on to feature in over 200 films, including Hum Saath-Saath Hain, Main Hoon Na, and Om Shanti Om. On television, his portrayal of the eccentric Indravadan Sarabhai in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai became legendary.
