Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh bring romance and fun with playful roleplay in latest Abu Dhabi Tourism campaign: Watch

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were recently seen starring in a tourism campaign for Abu Dhabi, which appeared to coincide with their anniversary celebrations.

The couple is shown in the romantic and light-hearted roleplaying scenes at different locations throughout the city in the campaign video, which has gone viral very quickly.

In the video, Ranveer teasingly asks Deepika, “Followed me to Abu Dhabi? Are you stalking me? So, what are we playing tonight? Are we in a rom-com or a spy thriller?” Deepika hands him an envelope, to which he responds, “It’s a date.” She then jokes, “What if I’m a double agent on vacation?” Later, Ranveer says, “I want to be a motorhead,” and when he finally arrives for dinner, he greets her with, “Hello, my lovely. You look ravishing.”

Deepika playfully passes him a coaster that reads, “Happy anniversary,” adding, “You look like Bond who forgot to shave.” The couple shares lighthearted laughs throughout the video, with Ranveer commenting, “Baby, you can’t make me laugh. How am I supposed to stay in character? In any case, this roleplay stuff is too cheesy.” Deepika then asks, “So what’s Abu Dhabi got for us tomorrow?” and Ranveer responds, “Just wait and watch.”

In accordance with local custom, Deepika was spotted donning an abaya and a head covering during the photo session at the Grand Mosque. This sparked some controversy among a section of viewers.
