Veteran Bollywood actor Govardhan Asrani, fondly known as Asrani, was celebrated for his impeccable comic timing and vibrant personality. Even in his final days, the beloved actor’s spirit remained unbowed. A recently surfaced video shows Asrani dancing on stage at an event just 10 days before his death.

The video, shared by singer Pinky Maidasani, shows Asrani initially standing with some support before letting the music take over. Soon, he is seen dancing to Sindhi tunes, eliciting smiles and laughter from those around him. Pinky shared the clip with a heartfelt caption, "Last event just 10 days back, he was on stage and dancing to Sindhi tunes at the event. Wow, what a life he lived to the fullest. A true gem, artist, and our own legend, the Asrani sahib."
Asrani’s death was confirmed by his assistant, Babubhai, who told India Today that the actor had been admitted to Bharatiya Arogya Nidhi Hospital in Juhu four days prior. According to the doctors, he had fluid accumulation in his lungs. He passed away on October 20 at 3:30 pm, at the age of 84. His last rites were performed shortly thereafter.

The film fraternity has been paying heartfelt tributes to the legend. Ajay Devgn expressed, "Deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Asrani ji. From admiring his work to growing up to sharing screen space with him...it was a true honour. Always full of warmth, humour and humility. You will always be remembered sir. Om shaanti."
