Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai has recently attended the birth centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh. The event was also attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, Union Ministers Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu, G Kishan Reddy and others.

During the centennial celebrations of Bhagavan Shri Sathya Sai Baba, Aishwarya expressed her deep devotion, saying that millions of people are still inspired by His teachings and compassion.

She emphasised Baba's five Ds—discipline, dedication, devotion, determination, and discrimination—as crucial components of a life rooted in spirituality while considering her Balvikar heritage.
The actress said, “On this historic and sacred occasion of the centenary celebrations of Bhagavan Shri Sathya Sai Baba, my heart is filled with deep devotion and gratitude. Though a century may have passed since His divine birth, His presence, His principles, His teachings, guidance and His compassion continue to reverberate in the hearts of millions worldwide.”

The actress also talked about how Swami's message of service has shaped her life and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for honouring the occasion.

She added, “I extend a heartfelt thank you to you, our Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, for being with us here today and for honouring this special occasion.”
