Farhana Bhatt is a dynamic Indian actress who has entered as one of the contestants of Bigg Boss 19. Born on March 15, 1997, in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, Farhana is 27 year-old as of 2024. She hails from a conservative Kashmiri family and faced significant challenges while pursuing her dream of acting, often going against societal and familial expectations.

Farhana’s academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from Government College for Women, Srinagar, as well as a Diploma in Acting from Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepares School in Mumbai.
She furthered her craft by attending multiple theater workshops focused on the classical “9 Emotions” in Mumbai, which enriched her performance skills
Her professional debut came in 2016 with the Bollywood film “Sunshine Music Tours & Travels” (SMTT), opposite Sunny Kaushal. She later gained widespread attention for her roles as Jasmeet in Imtiaz Ali’s “Laila Majnu” (2018) and Dolly in Nitin Kakkar’s “Notebook” (2019). Farhana has collaborated with leading banners like Salman Khan Films, Balaji Telefilms, Yash Raj Films, Friday Filmworks, and Dharma Productions, and has worked with prestigious directors such as Imtiaz Ali, Neeraj Pandey, and Karan Johar.

Beyond feature films, Farhana is also prominent in the world of music videos, having worked with major labels like T-Series, Speed Records, and Zee Music. She also starred in various web series and documentaries, including “The Freelancer” (Disney+ Hotstar), “Country of Blind,” “Heaven of Hindustan,” and the 2024 Amazon miniTV series “India’s Braves” as Rihanna.
A multi-talented individual, Farhana is a five-time national medalist in Martial Arts (Taekwondo) and a dedicated, self-taught dancer. She also adores animals, with a particular fondness for her pet cat. Farhana remains unmarried and close to her two sisters, Soliha and Fiza Bhat, who form her immediate family circle.
