Joining the trend of classic films returning to the big screen, Baahubali: The Beginning is reportedly gearing up for a grand re-release to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
The S.S. Rajamouli directorial, which first captivated audiences in 2015, revolutionized Indian cinema with its larger-than-life storytelling and visuals.
Producer Shobu Yarlagadda recently sparked speculation by resharing a fan’s request on X, urging the makers to bring the film back to theatres for its milestone anniversary this year. The producer wrote, "What do you all think ? Should we rerelease @BaahubaliMovie this year?"
Featuring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, and Tamannaah, Baahubali: The Beginning set new benchmarks in epic storytelling and cinematic spectacle. With its stunning visuals, compelling performances, and unforgettable moments, the film remains a fan favorite.
Set in ancient India, Baahubali: The Beginning tells the story of Sivudu, a fearless young man who uncovers his royal lineage and sets out to challenge a tyrannical ruler. Produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under Arka Media Works, the film was lauded for its breathtaking visuals, gripping narrative, and stellar performances.
