Amazon MX Player is all set to bring viewers a rollercoaster ride of drama and intrigue with its new reality show, Rise & Fall, launching on 6th September.
Produced by Banijay Asia and inspired by a popular international format, the show offers a fresh Indian twist on high-stakes competition. Taking on the role of host is Ashneer Grover, known for his bold and unfiltered style, promising a gripping and honest viewing experience over the 42-day journey.
The show brings together sixteen celebrities from various walks of life—Bollywood stars, musicians, politicians, entrepreneurs, and social media influencers—divided into two very different groups: the privileged Rulers who enjoy the comfort of a luxury penthouse, and the hardworking Workers who live in a stark basement.
This stark contrast sets the stage for a fierce power struggle, where alliances shift, trust breaks, and surprises await at every turn. The tagline, “16 contestants. Two worlds. One ultimate power struggle,” sums up the intense battle for supremacy perfectly.
Among the standout contestants are Arjun Bijlani, known for his sharp competitiveness; Dhanashree Verma, whose determination shines through; Kubbra Sait, who isn’t afraid to speak her mind; and Kiku Sharda, who balances humour with surprising grit.
