South Indian cinema’s beloved actress Anushka Shetty is all set to make a grand return to the big screen with her much-anticipated film Ghaati. After creating much buzz with early glimpses and teasers, the makers have officially announced the film’s release date. Ghaati will hit theatres worldwide on July 11, 2025, promising a power-packed cinematic experience for fans.

Originally slated for release in April 2025, the film’s launch was postponed, but the wait seems worthwhile as a new poster has added to the hype. The recently unveiled poster features Anushka Shetty alongside Tamil actor Vikram Prabhu, both crossing a river while carrying goods. The visual hints at the film’s intense and rugged narrative, setting the tone for an action-filled drama. The production team also confirmed that Ghaati will be released as a pan-India film in five languages—Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.

Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the production house UV Creations shared the new poster with the caption: “Coming to claim her throne and conquer the box office ️ #Ghaati GRAND RELEASE WORLDWIDE ON JULY 11th #GhaatiFromJuly11th.” The announcement has sent fans into a frenzy, reigniting excitement for Anushka’s return.

In November 2024, a 47-second teaser of Ghaati gave fans a chilling preview of what’s to come. Anushka was seen in a mysterious and fierce avatar—draped in a saree, veiled in a black cloth, and adorned with traditional jewelry. The teaser showed her evading the police, boarding a bus, and shockingly decapitating a man using a sickle—all while looking at her target through a rearview mirror. This scene highlighted the film’s gritty tone and Anushka’s bold transformation.
