Anupamaa written update August 23: Rahi, Mahi and Pari participate in Ansh’s joota chori rasam

Anupamaaa is has some very interesting drama going on around Ansh and Prarthana’s marriage.

Rahi, Pari, and Mahi jokingly demand money from Ansh, who complies, as the Shahs gleefully dance at Ansh's baraat. Ansh promises to assist Prarthana for the rest of her life, and Prem thanks him for accepting her. Manohar comments that Ansh's love-based marriage is unique at a time of wedding frauds, while Leela guarantees Prarthana will be treated like a daughter, not just a daughter-in-law.

Anupamaa hopes someone from the Kotharis would show up to cheer Prarthana up and wishes Parag could attend. Rahi makes fun of Ansh for missing Prarthana. When Leela begs Anupamaa to take Prarthana to the event, Anupamaa says that Anil, Prem, and Raja would do it instead, pointing out that they weren't pleased with Prarthana's last wedding and telling them to enjoy the present.

Prarthana receives a visit from Prem, Anil, Raja, and Badshah, who bestow blessings and praise on her. Eager to meet her, Ansh takes part in a rite of creating wishes, in which Prarthana asks for Parag to be present and Ansh asks for Parag's blessings for both her and their child.
