Akshay Kumar, who is currently busy filming for hsi upcoming film Haiwaan along with Saif Ali Khan, made sure not to miss on to Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations amidst jam packed work schedule.
As reported by Hindustan Times, Akshay Kumar celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi with an intimate Ganpati visarjan on set of the film in Kochi where the actor along with the rest of the crew is currently filming.
In a video shared by the publication, Akshay was seen carrying the an eco-friendly idol of Ganesh, accompanied by his team as he performed the rituals.
Akshay Kumar's sincere gesture during the festivities was what really caught our attention. He bowed modestly and folded his hands. He added flair to the holy rite by carefully and gracefully dipping the idol into the water.
In keeping with his ongoing support of environmentally conscious celebrations and sustainable festivities, Akshay selected an eco-friendly idol this year. His conviction that customs can be respected and upheld responsibly even when one is far from home was once again reinforced by the occasion.
Regarding his career, Akshay is preparing for Haiwaan, which is directed by seasoned director Priyadarshan. After 17 years apart, Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan finally reunite in the movie.
The project, which is positioned as a high-octane action thriller, has already generated excitement due to its dynamic cast, which includes Malayalam superstar Mohanlal's unexpected special cameo, comedy veteran Asrani, Saiyami Kher, and Shriya Pilgaonkar.
The actor previously starred with a stellar cast in Housefull 5 and made a noteworthy cameo in Vishnu Manchu's ambitious pan-Indian film Kannappa.
