XAT 2025 Mock Test: Exam Pattern and Changes
The XAT 2025 exam will be conducted in online mode, divided into four sections:
- Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning (VA and LR)
- Decision-Making (DM)
- Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation (QA and DI)
- General Knowledge (GK)
There have been several changes to the exam pattern this year. The General Knowledge (GK) section now contains 20 questions (down from 25), with 12 focused on current affairs and 8 on static GK. Additionally, the Analytical Essay Writing (AEW) test will no longer be part of the main exam but will instead be conducted during the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) stages.
Another significant change is the exam duration. The test will now consist of two parts:
Part 1 (170 minutes) covering VA, LR, DM, and QA & DI.
Part 2 (10 minutes) for the GK section.
This brings the total exam duration to 180 minutes.
