The Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) has announced a recruitment drive for 201 Assistant Professor positions across various disciplines in government degree colleges. The official notification (05/2025) was released on February 1, 2025, outlining the details of this significant recruitment effort.

The positions fall under Group A Gazetted and are within the Higher Education Department of the Tripura government. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply online via the TPSC website (https://tpsc.tripura.gov.in/) between February 11, 2025, and March 7, 2025. The deadline for online applications is 5:30 PM on March 7th.

The selection process will involve two stages: initial screening based on Academic Performance Indicator (API) scores, followed by category-wise interviews for shortlisted candidates. The TPSC will announce the examination date on its official website in due course.

Step 3. Self-attested copies of relevant documents (age proof, educational qualifications, permanent residency, caste certificate, experience certificates, etc.) must be submitted by March 21, 2025.
Step 4. Candidates with teaching or post-doctoral experience should include additional documentation, such as income tax returns and salary slips.
